The awards were presented at a GALA event in Berlin in the presence of leading representatives of the green sector from Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
The plants? easy! concept is unique in the green market and stands for content marketing in action. The cross-media marketing concept makes it possible to appeal to plant beginners and a younger target group and to position the specialist garden centres of EGP "Die grünen Profis" as the right point of contact.
Plants? easy! provides a simple and stimulating introduction to the green hobby through various plant categories and short films that show in just a few minutes what is needed for successful and "species-appropriate" plant cultivation and care. The project has been perfectly tailored to the Swiss market by using a "youthful language" and speaking in dialect or French.
The cross-media customer approach takes place along the entire customer journey. The marketing activities consist of an orchestrated combination of search engine marketing with printed customer magazines, email marketing and social media posts through to POS measures to draw the attention of budding gardeners to the easy-care plants on the sales floor and support them with helpful information.
