An increasing number of consumers are looking for information prior to the shopping activity. This behaviour offers great opportunities for retailers to inspire the consumer via their website. How the 360-degree photography can be used to increase the number of potential customers in the shop will be described in that blog article.

The ROPO-effect is getting more important for retail! Why? There is an easy answer: consumers are acting according the ROPO-effect; despite if retail likes it or not. Maybe you haven't heard from ROPO yet? We are able to provide some clarification regarding this abbreviation. It means "Research-Online-Purchase Offline".

According an actual survey 56% of Internet users gaining information online. Out of this group just 16% are purchasing online, 38% are purchasing afterwards offline.

This behaviour differs a lot between the product groups. For example: 26% of car purchaser’s retrieving information online and buying offline, whilst only 13% of people who are looking for clothes buying offline.

Nowadays is it extremely important for retailers to take care on a perfect company presentation in the web. The perfect preview is a virtual visit via desk-top, tablet or mobile at the garden centre.

How we are going to establish a virtual tour via a garden centre without using services of Google? We are using 360 degree photography!

With a very special camera the various areas of the shop will be photographed. The images will be matched and an impressive result for the end-consumer is available.

Please see below a sample of a Christmas market in the garden centre of one of our customers.

All outside sales areas can be visualised as well and the consumer will be able to visit them virtually.

The perfect benefit will be given if the virtual tour is promoted via an ad in a newspaper. A QR-Code has to be a part of the advertisement and the number of visitors of an event will be significantly higher.

We look very much forward to talk to you about our new services around the 360 degree photography.
